NEW Teen Promotores Video Contest
• Complete registration form.
• Prepare a 2 minute video on YouTube either in Spanish or English due no later than April 12, 2013.
• The theme of the video will reflect your understanding about the Human Papilloma Virus and the benefits or risks associated with the HPV vaccine that is reported to protect against HPV infection and the health problems that HPV infection can cause.
• Submit the link of your YouTube video to diadelamujerlatina@gmail.com.

About Teen Promotores
Our Teen Promotores Program began because our Promotores desired to have their children participate along side them and serve as a family in their communities. We view this as a family program - Promotores and their children working together to engage and educate their peers in their community.
Teen Promotores educate their peers about staying healthy, focusing on diabetes and obesity prevention.
December 29, 2011, Houston, TX - Día de la Mujer Latina, Inc., dedicated to reducing health disparities within the Latino Communities, proudly accepted the exciting task of creating a Teen Promotores Program with funding for Healthy Kids, Healthy Families, which is an initiative of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, operated by Health Care Service Corporation.
